Biography: Ashley LaFountain is currently a senior at the University of Toledo majoring in Biology with a Pre-Medicine Concentration and Minors in Chemistry and Business Administration. She is currently planning to start Medical School in the Fall of 2017. Living near a Nuclear Power Plant sparked Ashley's interest in Nuclear Energy. She began following the topic in her Honors Seminar Sustainability Course in the Spring of 2017 at the University of Toledo. She remains a concerned citizen in the community regarding the current state of the energy market and the nuclear industry.
