LSU toxicologist talks about health risks in the Gulf (8:45)

Project Gulf Impact interviews Dr. Vincent Wilson, a toxicologist in the Department of Environmental Sciences at Louisiana State University, about health risks in the Gulf of Mexico. Dr. Wilson discusses known carcinogens in crude oil (includingPAHs (Public Health Statement for Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs)) and benzene (Public Health Statement for Benzene)), risks of dispersants (Dispersants in the Gulf of Mexico), impacts on reproduction, and food and safety risks.
