Eleanor Milne

Eleanor Milne has a background in soil and crop science with a B.Sc., from the University of Liverpool, UK in Environmental Biology and an M.Sc. in ‘Crop production in the changing environment’ from the University of Essex, UK. Her PhD work considered soil erosion in relation to crop productivity in Yunnan Province, P.R. China and was awarded by the University of Wolverhampton, UK. For the past 7 years she has been managing and coordinating large international research projects, including ‘Assessment of soil organic carbon stocks and changes’ which developed the Global Environment Facility Soil Organic Carbon (GEFSOC) modeling system. She is currently the Executive Officer for the Global Land Project (GLP) Nodal Office on Integration and Modelling at The Macaulay Institute, Aberdeen, UK and an Affiliate Scientist of the Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory, Colorado, USA.
