Baguio is a name sometimes given to tropical cyclones in the Phillipines, especially those occurring from July to November.

This article is written at a definitional level only. Authors wishing to expand this entry are inivited to expand the present treatment, which additions will be peer reviewed prior to publication of any expansion.

The term appears chiefly in the English or American literature regarding meteorology of the Phillipines region; moreover, the term is actually derived derived from the city of Baguio, where an historic 24-hour rainfall of 46 inches occurred during the passage of a tropical cyclone in July 1911.
