The lymphocytes that participate the
cellular immune response the T
lymphocytes. T
differentiate into three main :
cytotoxic T lymphocytes (cytotoxicT
), helper T lymphocytes (helper )
and suppressor T lymphocytes.
cytotoxic cells are the of the
system, i.e., directly attack other
cells as foreign (for example,
cells, cells infected by ,
neoplastic cells, graft cells,etc.).
helper cells and the T
lymphocytes act as of the
system releasing that
respectively stimulate and the
immune action of and B lymphocytes.
After primary immune response
memory lymphocytes also remain in
circulation to provide faster
more effective reaction in of future
infections.
