Upon actuating the HALT command from the SMART file menu or toolbar, a error box might pop up with the message:

Run-time error '52'

Bad file name or number

OK

Just actuate the OK button. The box will disappear and SMART will exit. To load SMART again, restart Staedt from the Windows taskbar. A message that MOST is already running will appear. Actuate the OK button to remove the message. STÆDT is then ready to operate normally.
