by Alexander Stanoyevitch.  Simply download the zip file, and extract the contents.
The files are grouped in folders corresponding to the chapters in which they were developed.

Update on 2 June 2005:  The M-file onedimwave.m, appearing in the folder for Chapter 12,
had a bug that has been corrected on the version available on this ftp site.  The problem 
was that an "end" statement needed to be moved.  The previous program ran much slower and
could potentially give slightly inaccurate results. It has been checked that the results 
obtained in the book's examples that used this program were essentially identical when the
corrected program was used.  I am grateful to Professor Lawrence Shampine for having
brought this bug and correction to my attention.
