Manuals:

manuals.dvi is a 50 page latex document containing brief 
descriptions of the syntax of the packages MINITAB, GLIM,
Splus, Statxact and Logxact. The equivalent postscript
file manuals.ps is also provided.

Answers:

answers.dvi is a latex documents containing brief solutions
to around half of the exercises.

Generalised hypergeometric:

ghg.exe is a fortran executable that computes tilted hypergeometric
distributions, their mean and variance relevant to the conditional
analysis of 2x2 tables. Using it is self-explanatory.

Splus:

cjl_fun.s contains various functions
cjl_data.s contains many of the data sets used in the text and
exercises.
Both are loaded into Splus using "data.restore".
