Larva on Artemisia spp. ;Forster & Wholfahrt, 1971, [POOLE]
Larva on Silene , S. nutans, S. vulgaris
Kimmo Silvonen, 1998. Hadena (Conisania) luteago new to Finland. Baptria 23(1): 22-26.
Three specimens of the noctuid moth Hadena luteago (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775) were collected from Finland in 1996. The occurence of the species in Fennoscandia is reported for the first time. Recent finds in the Baltic countries and in the North - West Russia suggest that the species may be widening its distribution area. Short description of the image and larva are given together with photograps. [Main text in Finnish only].
The 3 locations on SE coastline of Finland were: Kotka ~30.6, Hamina 17-25.6, Virolahti 13-19.8.
