Another view of the class 5047 railbus. These are further developments based on the German DB class 627 railbus, but with newer technology. Similar railbuses were sold to some German private operators, such as the neg of Niebüll, now part of Luxemburg state railways CFL. In these pictures the machines still have the red-blue-white color scheme, but they also have lately been repainted to red and light grey. There it comes, a class 5047 railbus along a small side line to the very small station of Neusiedl am See. The weather is VERY hot as can be seen. Photo 8.7.2007 by Ilkka Siissalo.

It's getting closer... Photo 8.7.2007 at Neusiedl am See by Ilkka Siissalo.

...and then it stopped. But, oh, so in vain. These guys did not want to jump on the train, but just take photos. Photo 8.7.2007 at Neusiedl am See by Ilkka Siissalo.

The old class 5047 railbuses have been replaced at many side lines with newer trains, especially by this ÖBB class 5022, which is a Siemens built two coach, low-floor Desiro. Photo at Graz station 8.7.2007 by Ilkka Siissalo.

This is how you can identify which one is a Talent and which one is a Desiro. The one on the right with the broader grin is the diesel Desiro made by Siemens and the one with almost a shut mouth is the electric Talent made by Bombardier. Photo at Graz station 8.7.2007 by Ilkka Siissalo.
