Zamboanga Peninsula is located in eastern Mindanao. It refers to both the landform and to the administrative region. That region has three provinces also named Zamboanga: Zamboanga del Norte, Zamboanga del Sur, and Zamboanga Sibugay; and one chartered city, Zamboanga City.
