Virgil is a town located in Beadle County, South Dakota. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 25.

Geography

Virgil is located at 44°17'25" North, 98°25'38" West (44.290237, -98.427107)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 2.6 km² (1.0 mi²). 2.6 km² (1.0 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.
