- However, please do not label isolated instances of text deletions, replacements or odd additions as VANDALISM unless they seem intentionally overly lewd or offensive. More often than not, this is just a visitor to the site experimenting with how to use it (also see newbie test) -- labeling them as a VANDAL is a sure way of ensuring they will not become contributors. Only add alerts to this page of true VANDALISM such as a systematic attack on several articles. Above all, please be polite at first and give the person the benefit of the doubt until they prove they deserve otherwise.

- USER 62.212... make an identity please -- theres no good reason not to, and there are dozens of reason for it, like having a talk page where people can respond to you. I take issue with both parties here -- both are making a polarist issue out of something, and both are representing their pov as npov. Neither one of the two is NPOV. - Articles with information, which don't seem to have been reverted: Super Bowl, Scott Reynor (Redirect to different spelling, redirect to article edited by similar, but different, IP), Jules Hardouin Mansart, Hippogriff, and a few year articles have had nl: langauge links at the top. Think everything else by that IP was reverted at some point. Looks quite possible they were edited by different people with the same IP address.

- I cannot see why such an edit should justify a user being blocked. The quantifier of persistent vandalism is the number of repetitive malicious edits, not the content. - User:149.101.1.119 had been adding in dodgy and blatently POV rubbish to articles. For example, they wrote in Patrick Pearse Pearse was educated by the Christian Brothers, and it is unlikely he would have become as zealously unhinged a nationalist had he attended a non-Catholic shool. While some of their additions are OK, some beggar belief. I have had to do a couple of revertions of changes they have made, as have other Irish users. - I think it was just a temporary burst of enthusiasm and not understanding the concept of NPOV. I left a message on their talk page and while there still are some problems (over wrong capitalisation, etc), the POV additions have ceased. But it is still worth keeping an eye on their work, not for deliberate vandalism but for misguided changes, a couple of which I have reverted, with a message on their talk page explaining why and how their changes (probably innocently) went against naming conventions and agreed methods of working.
