Three Houses of Men, also known as the
Three Houses of the Edain, are the Houses of
Bëor,
Haleth[?] and
Hador[?], those who remained faithful to the
Elves, in the wars of
Beleriand. For their loyalty, they were awarded the island of
Númenor.
