The American Musical and Dramatic Academy

The American Musical and Dramatic Academy, or AMDA, is a school for the performing arts located in Manhattan, New York City, New York. The school is a non-degree-granting university institution with stringent auditions for admittance. Located in the Ansonia hotel on Broadway, it heralds participation from many great performing arts specialists as instructors, and teaches two programs: integrated (dance/voice/theater) and non-integrated (theater.) Among its most famous graduates are:
