Tetralogy of Fallot is a significant and complex
congenital defect[?] of the
heart, involving four different
heart malformations[?]:
- The first is a ventricular[?] septal defect (VSD), a hole between the two bottom chambers (ventricles) of the heart.
- The second is Pulmonary stenosis[?], a narrowing at or just below the pulmonary valve[?].
- The third is the aorta is positioned over the ventricular septal defect instead of in the left ventricle.
- Fourth, the right ventricle is more muscular than normal.
