Roger W. Sperry

Roger W. Sperry (August 20, 1913 - April 17, 1994) was a biologist and Nobel laureate who won the 1981 Nobel Prize in Medicine for his work with split-brain research.

In his Nobel winning work, Sperry separated the corpus callosum[?], the area of the brain used to transfer signals between the right and left hemispheres, to treat epileptics.
