• Kaiserliche Marine (1872-1918)
• Vorläufige Reichsmarine (1919-1921)
• Reichsmarine (1921-1933)
• Kriegsmarine (1933-1945)
• Volksmarine (East Germany: 1949-1990)
• Bundesmarine (West Germany: 1945-1990)
  • Admirals
    • Vizeadmiral Bernhard Rogge
• Deutsche Marine (1990-present)
