Planescape:Torment is a computer
role playing game which takes place in the
Dungeons & Dragons Planescape setting. It was created by Black Isle Studios. In the game, players assume control of an enigmatic character who wakes up in a mortuary, can't remember his past or his name and is followed around by a floating, talking skull named Morte. Planescape: Torment differs from similar RPGs like the
Baldur's Gate series by a heavy emphasis on conversation and story-line, thus decreasing the importance of combat.
