Large park in the centre of
Dublin. Rumoured to be the largest city park in Europe. Contains the residences of the
President of Ireland (
Áras an Uachtaráin) and the United States Ambassador to Ireland (
Deerfield Residence).
The name is a corruption of the Irish fionn uisce, meaning "clear water."
