Operation Herbstnebel

History records two German military operations called Herbstnebel (Autumn Mist in German):

1. Plan created by Field Marshal Walther Model as an alternative to Martin[?] and Wacht am Rhine. Never executed.

2. A 1944 staff proposal to withdraw German troops in Italy behind the Po River. Rejected by HIlter.
