The Niagara Escarpment is a 725 km (450 mile) long escarpment running through southern and central Ontario, Canada.

In February 1990, the Niagara Escarpment was designated a World Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO, making it one of 12 in Canada.

Niagara Falls is formed by the Niagara River flowing over the escarpment edge, and the Bruce Trail runs the length of the escarpment.
