Michel Legrand

Michel Legrand (born February 24, 1932) is a French composer, arranger, conductor and pianist.

Born in Paris to Raymond Legrand, the France's most popular composer/conductors of that time.

First, he made significant contribution to jazz working with such great jazz innovators like Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Stan Getz[?] and Bill Evans.

Later he became famous from writing for films.
