Magna paint

Magna paints, a line of acrylic paints developed by Leonard Bocour[?] and Harry Levison[?] in 1947 and reformulated in 1960, are pigments ground in an acrylic resin with solvents and a plasticizer. Unlike modern water-based acrylics, Magna is miscible with turpentine and mineral spirits and dries rapidly to a mat finish. It was used by Jackson Pollock and Roy Lichtenstein.
