Little Miss Marker

Little Miss Marker (also known as The Girl in Pawn) is a 1934 film which tells the story of a young girl whose father leaves her as collateral to pay off a gambling debt. It stars Shirley Temple, Adolphe Menjou, Charles Bickford[?] and Dorothy Dell[?].

The movie was adapted by Sam Hellman[?], Gladys Lehman[?] and William R. Lipman[?] from the story by Damon Runyon. It was directed by Alexander Hall[?]. The film has been deemed "culturally significant" by the Library of Congress and selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry.
