Kingfield is a town located in Franklin County, Maine. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,103.

Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 112.9 km² (43.6 mi²). 112.5 km² (43.4 mi²) of it is land and 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.37% water.

Demographics

As of the census of 2000, there are 1,103 people, 454 households, and 304 families residing in the town. The population density is 9.8/km² (25.4/mi²). There are 659 housing units at an average density of 5.9/km² (15.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 98.37% White, 0.00% African American, 0.09% Native American, 0.18% Asian, 0.09% Pacific Islander, 0.27% from other races, and 1.00% from two or more races. 0.18% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
