Jutes were people originally from what is now
Jutland in modern
Denmark. Some Jutes, the
Angles,
Saxons and other
Germanic peoples who went to England, although they are less well known than the
Angles and
Saxons.
Jutes settled in particular in Kent and on the Isle of Wight.
