I'm a professor of biology working on the genetics of life span, doing so by studying a soil nematode called Caenorhabditis elegans.

I'm also a life-long harmonica player, now amateur, who plays both diatonic and chromatic harmonica in a variety of styles. Modern techniques allow all of the "missing notes" on a diatonic harmonica to be played.

I have a rudimentary website with some sound files. I also welcome e-mail. To dissuade spamming by web-bots, I've mis-spelled both addresses. Just replace flashh with flash:

www.flashh.net/~jjthaden

I welcome e-mails to jjthaden@flashh.net.
