James Carville

James Carville (born October 25, 1944) is an American political figure, best known for his role as a chief aide and supporter of President Bill Clinton.

Born in Louisiana, Carville has a heavy Southern accent, which coupled with his quick and fiery rhetoric made him a very memorable member of the Clinton Administration. Carville would often appear on American news programs defending the President, even during the days of the Monica Lewinsky scandal. He became synonymous with presidential loyalty, and even wrote a book on the topic entitled Stickin': The Case for Loyalty.

Carville currently co-hosts the CNN debate show Crossfire.
