Thomas Neill Cream became a doctor of medicine in 1876; he then took on a life of crime which did include attempted murder. Eventually on
November 15,
1892 he was sent to the gallows. His last words were; 'I am Jack the...'. He never finished his sentence as the trap door was released just before he had finished.
William Grant Granger was known to have attacked
prostitutes[?]; he also had trained as a medical student.
Aaron Kosminski was said to be insane, he had a hatred of
prostitutes[?] and had homicidal tendencies. He was eventually put in a mental asylum in
1890
James Maybrick is reported to have had a journal signed "Jack the Ripper", although the authenticy is questionable. Maybrick was killed by his wife in April 1889.
Walter Sickert took a big interest in the murders caused by Jack the Ripper; he could describe the injuries caused in great detail.
