Frederick V or
Friedrich V von der Pfalz (

1632), also known as
Frederick V, Elector Palatine was elector palatine of the
Rhine Palatinate and briefly titled King of
Bohemia. He married
Elizabeth Stuart, the daughter of King
James I of England. The negotiations for this wedding were conducted in
Royston,
Hertfordshire. He was son of the
Frederick IV, Elector Palatine[?]. After his defeat
Battle of White Mountain he lived in exile with his family in
The Hague.
