Fort Vancouver

Located in Vancouver, Washington, Fort Vancouver was a fur-trading post of the Hudson's Bay Company. It was established 1825 and abandoned in 1860. Today the fort has been reconstructed on its original site. It is possible to tour the fort and it is also the site of a large fireworks display, said to be the largest west of the Mississippi river, on the 4th of July.
