Fantasy Metal is a sub-genre of
Black Metal. Although some would call it basically
Power Metal[?], there is a big difference. Power Metal doesn't have the Fantasy element Fantasy Metal has. This sub-genre often overlaps with
Medieval Metal, except it mentions Fantasy elements such as:
Dragons,
Dwarves,
Hobbits,
Unicorns and so on. The vocals of this genre are in some bands different than usual Black Metal vocals, basically singing in a normal voice. The basic sound is a Classical Sound mixed with Black Metal, and there is probably a story in the song.
