Ellen Zwilich

Ellen Taaffe Zwilich (born April 30, 1939) is an American post-modernist composer.

Her works include the Concerto Grosso and Three Movements for Orchrestra (Symphony No. 1), which won the 1983 Pulitzer Prize for Music, the first Pulitzer given to a woman.
