Cyprus Airways is the national airline of
Cyprus. It flies out of
Larcana International Airport[?] in
Larcana[?]. It is one of the major
Arabian airline companies.
Not much is known about the history of Cyprus Airways. Nowadays, however, it flies extensely across the Middle East, to such metropolis as
Amman,
Bahrain,
Beirut,
Dubai, etc. etc. In
Europe, the
Cyprus Airways network reaches such cities as
Amsterdam,
London,
Birmingham,
Rome and many more. Although geographically speaking,
Cairo is also considered by many to be a part of the
Middle East, it actually represents
Cyprus Airways only
African destination. No flights currently operate to
North America,
South America or eastern
Asia. Cyprus Airways also has a
charter airline division. Passengers or companies who desire to fly Cyprus Airways on their charter flights, fly on Cyprus Airways' charter division, named
Eurocypria[?].
Model airplane wise, Cyprus Airways is under contract with
Long Prosper[?] to produce their plastic models, and with
Schabak to produce their die-cast models.
Cyprus Airways uses
Airbus jets, of the
A319[?],
A320 and
A330[?] type.
The new Cyprus Airways livery presents an all white fuselage section, with the words
Cyprus Airways in block and colored in blue over the front passenger windows, and an all blue tail with a yellow bird expanding her wings drawn on it.
