City of Death is considered by many
Doctor Who fans to be the greatest episode of all time. It aired in four parts in
1979 with
Tom Baker as the Doctor and
Julian Glover[?] as Scaroth, and featured cameos by
Eleanor Bron and
John Cleese. Filmed mostly in
Paris, this episode was written by
Douglas Adams. It is full of witty dialog and several
Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy references.
