Cincinnati is a city located in
Hamilton County in southwestern
Ohio on the
Ohio River. As of the
2000 census, the city had a total population of 331,285 making it the third largest city in Ohio. It has a much larger
metropolitan area covering parts of
Ohio,
Kentucky and
Indiana, with nearly two million residents. Cincinnati is home to both the
Reds (Major League
Baseball) and the
Bengals (
National Football League). It is the
county seat of
Hamilton County6.
