Wild pitch

In baseball, a wild pitch (denoted by WP) is a pitch that is too high, too low, or too wide of home plate for the catcher to capably field.

A wild pitch usually passes the catcher behind home plate, often allowing runners on base easy advancement. A wild pitch is credited to the pitcher, and only if there is at least one runner on base before the pitch.
