American Arbitration Association

American Arbitration Association is one of several arbitration bodies that resolves disputes brought to it by members of the public. Many contracts include an arbitration clause naming the AAA as the arbital body that will adjudicate any conflicts between the parties. Parties chose arbitration because the costs of litigation and protracted length of time one must wait before a legal decision is made creates great uncertainty, especially in the world of commerce.
