ABCD

ABCD is a helper for memorizing essential steps in resuscitation[?].

• A - airways - clear the airways
• B - breathing - restore respiration
• C - circulation - restore circulation[?]
• D - drugs - give drugs (adrenaline, atropine, etc.)

In the UK, for first aid at least, the mnemonic is ABC since the general public do not have the knowledge of, authority to issue or access to drugs.
