My name is Thad Salter. I started to think about the number twelve one day. It sure seems to come up a lot. Just look at a clock. Consider the twelve chromatic notes of the musical scale. There are twelve months in the year, twelve signs of zodiac (Chinese or whatever you call that other one). In fact Jesus himself chose twelve disciples. I wondered, might we have gone wrong one day when we "decided" to go with a decimal number system. What mysteries of the universe may have gone undiscovered because our way of thinking doesn't lend itself to noticing certain existing patterns.
