Contents of the file "heart-sutra-snskrt-eng-dta.zip"

There are two files -

1. HRDAYA.TXT - the Sanskrit original of the famous Heart Sutra,
sometimes descibed as the Turning of the Wheel of the Law of the
Mahayana tradition of Buddhism. There are two versions of the work.
This is the one known as the Shorter version.

To see the Sanskrit properly the file needs to be viewed in a Windows
word processor, using the Sanskrit TrueType font to be found here under
the name of romanised-sanskrit-ttf.zip

2. HEART.TXT - an English translation of the text.

They are both in ASCII format.
