Hesperian works with a wide range of partners, reviewers, and translators to make our materials accessible to as many people as possible. In September, we were honored to host partner Julie Cliff, a dedicated physician and teacher in Mozambique who worked with the Mozambican NGO Estamos to translate Where There Is No Doctor and A Community Guide to Environmental Health to Portuguese. Dr. Cliff discussed her work in Mozambique; her research on konzo, a deadly disease caused by eating cassava; and her experiences collaborating with Hesperian.
