About Us

Eswatini Digital Resources project is currently housed under the Eswatini National Library Service in Mbabane.

Brought to you by the Ministry of ICT, ENLS and peoplesgroup.org.uk/edusoft, another milestone in IT has been reached with the implementation of the national digital resources project which bridges the gap between ICT, Education and traditional library services.

This is a first of its kind in the world not only in terms of overall library and education services being made available far beyond anything available in the physical libraries, but also the introduction of many advanced digital classrooms providing superior educational resources for everyone regardless of whether or not they can afford to attend school.

To crown it all, they are available for free to the entire nation to access via their gadgets at zero cost of data pack or airtime. This is the first step to much greater world class achievements which will be commenced in phases this year.

Eswatini National Library Service was previously tasked by HRH Princess Sikhanyiso with the one gadget per child initiative. The provision of these digital resources is an attempt by the department to move in line with this initiative.
